For my music magazine I will need to feature an artist that will appear on my front cover, contents page and also my double page spread. My genre being RnB and my target audience being aimed at female readers, I have chosen a female model to represent my music magazine and her name is Chantelle. Chantelle meaning ‘little song’ relates to not only her as an artist as her passion has always been to write songs and perform them but also to the music industry as ‘song’ relates to music. Her fierce and confident personality will allow her fans to be inspired by her especially by her fashion sense everyone will want to look like her. Chantelle is perfect for the RnB music industry and her name ‘Chantelle’ is a conventional name that represents RnB as a genre but also her music. She will appeal to many males through her stunning face, her blonde locks and classy yet quirky style. Chantelle has been trying to break through into the music industry since the age of 15 when she discovered and was told by many friends and family she had a brilliant voice, since then she has auditioned for many talent shows such as Britain’s got talent and xfactor however has never made it past the semi finals. Finally Chantelle has been offered a recording label and is now recording and writing songs for her new upcoming album, she is a great artist to have to feature on my music magazine as she’s gorgeous, fresh and feminine totally fitting into the genre of RnB. She will appeal to a much wider audience has she has something different to her she’s not like any other RnB singer.

Practice shots

This image is a practice shot of my model, as this is how her hair and make up will be within the final images. The blonde loose curls in contrast with the bold red lips truly represents what an RnB artist would look like.

Above is another practice image of how my model will have her hair presented in the final shots, however her eye make up will also be how it is going to be within the real images as it created a subtle tone to the images making the model look effortless and classy.
